Credit Card Fraud, Suspicious Vehicle And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, eight alarms, animal complaint, two carless driving, two code enforcement, credit card fraud, two disturbing the peace, lost property, malicious mischief, noise violations, three suspicious activity, suspicious vehicle, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 31 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Disturbing the Peace
DUI 1st, Speeding
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, three alarms, animal complaint, two disturbances, domestic violence, four service calls, three suspicious activity / persons, welfare concerns, two transports, two civl matters, littering / dumping, two follow ups.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
A/C unit motor locked up and smoking at BanCorp South 517 South Lamar.
Resident burned food at Soleil Apts. 209 CR 3049.
University Police: 12 vehicle stops, suspicious person, serving warrant.
