Cyberstalking, Theft From A Motor Vehicle And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Suspicious vehicle, three alarm, theft from a motor vehicle, cyberstalking, motorist assist, improper parking, careless driving, malicious mischief, simple assault, switched tag, forgery.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 21 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Public drunk
DUI 1st, minor in possession of alcohol, wrong way on one way street
Public drunk, simple assault
DUI 1st, speeding, no liability insurance
Petit larceny
Shoplifting
DUI 1st, Child endangerment
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, two alarms, animal complaints, three disturbances, domestic violence, petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, nine service calls, three suspicious activities, two scams, two transports, two follow up, two reckless driving, two civil matters, dumping.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made six arrests
failure to yield to blue lights, careless driving, suspended driver’s license, no insurance
domestic violence, simple assault
disorderly conduct, no tag, careless driving
trespass
contempt warrant
writ to take custody
Oxford Fire Department:
Call cancelled for Roseburg 26 CR 122
Pressure washing the building activated a pull station alarm at Molly Barr Ridge bldg. 2
A wreck needed EMS—ambulance on scene upon arrival—no action taken by FD at University Ave./ Hwy. 7.
University Police: No reports for Thursday.
