Shoplifting, Trespassing And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, two alarms, animal complaints, two civil matter, disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, two larceny, shoplifting, suspicious persons, two suspicious vehicle, two trespassing, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 16 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st, Careless Driving, No Liability insurance
Public Drunks
3 Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, alarm, residential burglary, disturbance, petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, service call, three suspicious activity/persons, welfare concerns, two transports, information.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
Bench warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
Alarm company testing alarm system at the Delta Psi house.
Smoke detector malfunction Pike house.
Wreck no injuries patient refused OFD assistance and said she was to be transported to hospital by ambulance at the West Jackson Ave.
Electrical wall socket overheating turned breaker off to that area at 3A Earnest Way.
Cooking activated the smoke detector at Townhouse Suites by Marriott in room 202.
University Police: Disturbance, vehicle stop.
