Oxford police responded to the following calls: 911 hang up, two alarms, animal complaints, two careless driving, four civil matter, two disturbing the peace, harassing phone calls, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, other agency assist, scam, five suspicious activity, two suspicious persons, suspicious vehicle, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 20 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Noise violation
Public Drunk
Three Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, alarm, five disturbances, two harassment, two juvenile complaint, 14 service calls, seven suspicious activity/persons, two welfare concerns, five transports, traffic complaint, three reckless driving.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrests
Disorderly Conduct
Warrant for simple assault
Contempt
Oxford Fire Department: 
Kitchen smoke detector malfunction at 301 Eagle Springs Road.
