False Pretense, Identity Theft And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang-ups, alarms, animal complaint, burglary of a vehicle, two disturbing the peace, false pretense, harassing phone calls, identity theft, malicious mischief, three reported DUI’s, residential burglary, seven suspicious activities, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 27 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Child Restraint, No Liability Insurance, and No Driver’s License
No Seatbelt, No Driver’s License, Expired Tag, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Petit Larceny
Speeding, No Liability Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Switched Tag and Suspended License
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, five alarms, five disturbances, six service calls, five suspicious activities, welfare concern, four transports, two trespassing, information, reckless driving, five civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
simple assault warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
No reports from Monday.
University Police: Two suspicious persons, three vehicle stops, accident property damage.
