Disturbing The Peace, Reckless Driving And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, two careless driving, disturbing the peace, lost property, motorist assist, scam, suspicious activity, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 17 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Ran Stop Sign, Expired Tag, DUI 1st
Shoplifting
Speeding, DUI 1st
Speeding, No Liability Insurance, Suspended Driver’s License
Speeding, Warrant Served
Wrong Way on one way street
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, alarm, five disturbances, domestic violence, harassment malicious mischief, three service calls, suspicious activities, welfare concern, transport, trespassing, fraud, reckless driving, natural cause of death.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
disorderly conduct, resisting arrest
Oxford Fire Department:
Shower steam activated a fourth floor smoke detector Martin Hall.
Resident called 911 stating her detectors were beeping — bad batteries in the detectors at 722 Ironwood Lane.
University Police: Four vehicle stops, assist with traffic.
