Oxford police responded to the following calls: Abuse of 911, nine alarms, ambulance assist, two careless driving, two disturbing the peace, elderly assist, forgery, harassing phone calls, items on the road, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, property damage, simple assault, four suspicious activity, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued 12 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, four alarms, animal complaint, two disturbances, domestic violence, petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, two service calls, two suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, five transports, two trespassing, three information follow up, two reckless driving, two court detail road obstruction, civil matter, assault.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests
domestic violence, simple assault
writ to take custody, Chancery
Oxford Fire Department: 
26 CR 122 – Roseburg Forest Products – power outage activated the water flow alarm.
CR 244 – wreck no entrapment but did assist EMS with CPR
105 Hwy. 314 – wreck with entrapment
642 North 14th #9 – call cancelled
