Counterfeit Currency, Identity Theft And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: 13 alarms, three ambulance assist, three animal complaints, two civil matters, code violation, counterfeit currency, credit card fraud, eight disturbing the peace, fire department assist, harassing phone calls, identity theft, improper parking, five larceny, two lost property, two malicious mischief, motorist assist, other agency assist, three reported DUI’s, two simple assault 13 suspicious activity, four suspicious person, trespassing, seven welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated 14 wrecks, issued 52 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Child Endangerment by DUI, and DUI 2nd
Expired Tag and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Fake ID
2 Public Drunk
Shoplifting
Shoplifting and Disorderly Conduct
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, simple assault, seven alarms, three animal complaints, auto burglary, 12 disturbances, grand larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, nine service calls, eight suspicious activities, six welfare concerns, four transports, follow up, two traffic complaints, two reckless driving, six civil matters, recovered stolen property.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrests
simple assault
disorderly conduct
DUI, possession of paraphernalia
DUI refusal 3rd, no driver’s license
possession of controlled substance warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
The weekend fire report will be released on Tuesday.
University Police: Suspicious person, speeding, 13 vehicle stops, possession of drug paraphernalia, petit larceny, running a stop sign.
