Report Of Gunshots, Credit Card Fraud And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Abuse of 911, three alarms, ambulance assist, animal complaint, careless driving, civil matter, credit card fraud, disturbing the peace, harassing phone calls, identity theft, malicious mischief, recovered property, report of gunshots, four suspicious activity, two suspicious persons, suspicious vehicle, theft from a vehicle.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 28 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st, Careless Driving, No Liability Insurance
Minor in Possession of Alcohol
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless Driving, Suspended Drivers License
2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 2 Drug, Welfare Check
Public Drunk, Possession of Fake ID
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, two alarms, animal complaint, six disturbances, harassment, juvenile complaint, nine service calls, five suspicious activity/persons, welfare concern, civil matters, traffic complaint, reckless driving, follow up.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
contempt warrant
Oxford Fire Department: 
Two EMS assist calls
Installed a smoke detector in a private residence.

University Police: Disturbance, simple assault, suspicious vehicle, larceny, motor vehicle accident, petit larceny, grand larceny, auto burglary, vehicle stop.
