Malicious Mischief, Careless Driving And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Abusing 911, seven alarms, four careless driving, disturbing the peace, fire department assist, harassing phone calls, homeowner assist, improper parking, malicious mischief, motorist assist, motor vehicle theft, petit larceny, public drunk, residential burglary—forced, two shoplifting, stalking, suspicious activity, two suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, utility call out, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 10 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Careless Driving, No Liability Insurance, DUI 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Four Malicious Mischief, Tresspassing
Public Drunk
Shoplifting
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, two alarms, five animal complaints, six petit larceny, five service calls, two suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, two information, one unauthorized use of vehicle, two traffic complaints, two reckless driving, four civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
