Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Carless driving, Suspended License, No Liability Insurance, Warrant Served
Embezzlement
Possession of Schedule 2 Drug, 2 Warrants Served, Seatbelt Violation, No Tag, No Liability Insurance
Public Drunk
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, simple assault, petit larceny, two service calls, three suspicious activities, two vandalism, five transports, two information, two fraud, civil matter, disturbing the peace.

Oxford Fire Department: 
Frying donuts and had a grease flash fire — it was out before fire department arrived at 407 Clearbrook Drive.
University Police: Four vehicle stops, suspicious person, assist with traffic.
