Shoplifting, Public Drunk And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two abusing 911, six alarms, two ambulance assist, animal complaint, three disturbing the peace, domestic violence, simple assault, harassing phone calls, larceny, lost property, three motorist assist, noise violation, suspicious activity, three suspicious persons, suspicious vehicle, two utility call outs, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued eight traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Minor in possession of a fake ID
Two minors in possession of alcohol
Possession of schedule 1 drug, No liability insurance and careless driving
Public drunk, warrant served
Three shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, three alarms, two disturbances, petit larceny, three service calls, suspicious activity, welfare concern, transport, follow up, road obstruction, civil matter, ID theft.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
Simple assault, trespassing warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
Call cancelled en route to Hermitage Gardens.
University Police: Three vehicle stops, accident hit and run, assist with traffic, disturbance.
