Former Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram was selected by the New York Giants in the first-round of 2017 NFL draft as the 23rd overall pick. Engram’s tour of New York City continued on Thursday, as he got to throw out the first pitch at Citi Field prior to the Mets taking the field against the Washington Nationals.

Before stepping on the mound on Thursday, Engram signed a four-year $10.7 million contract with a $5.9 million signing bonus. The Giants will have a fifth-year option on his contract that will need to be excised before the start of his fourth season.
As mini-camp and OTA’s have been going on for football players, Engram has already started to impress his veteran teammates with his abilities on the field.
Engram isn’t the only former Rebel playing for the G-men as he joins Eli Manning and John Jerry.
