Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three reported careless drivers, four suspicious activities, two alarms, three disturbances, fireworks complaint, fire dept. assist, four welfare concerns, three Illegally parked cars, motorist assist, auto burglary —Oxford Way, two credit card frauds, scam, code violations, two 911 hang ups, animal complaint.
Oxford police investigated Three wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Domestic Violence-Simple Assault
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
MIP
Careless Driving, Possession of Schedule 1 & 4 Narcotics & DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, alarm, three animal complaints, auto burglary, five disturbances, domestic violence, two harassments, three juvenile complaints, six service calls, three suspicious activity/persons, two transports, reckless driving, follow up.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrests
Disorderly conduct
No driver’s license, no insurance, careless driving
Possession of paraphernalia, indictment on commercial burglary
Oxford Fire Department: 
General fire alarm malfunction at Bryant Hall.
Resident advised she had a strong chemical smell in her apt. —nothing found at CB Webb Bldg. 944 Apt. 1
Workers activated the kitchen smoke detector 36 Hill Drive.
Contractors digging with excavator hit a gas line at South 6th and Jackson Ave.
Third floor smoke detector malfunction at 3707 Lyles Drive.
First floor smoke detector malfunction at 800 Park Condos.
University Police: Four assist with traffic, three motor vehicle accidents, vehicle stop.
