OPD Makes Multiple Arrests In Connection With Alleged May Burglary
On Monday, June 12, the Oxford Police Department arrested Alexis Wright (21 Oxford) and Andrew Godwin (19 of Oxford) for burglary. On May 25, 2017, the Oxford Police Department took a report from the owner of Marquis Towing stating that they knew the two individuals that went into the Marquis Towing building and stole money out of the safe.
The owner signed charges against Alexis Wright and Andrew Goodwin and advised police that Mr. Goodwin had a key to gain access to the building.
Goodwin and Wright were arrested on a traffic stop on June 12, 2017 and taken to the LCDC. Wright was given a bond of $2,500. Goodwin’s bond was revoked because he was out on a previous felony bond.
