Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three malicious mischiefs, three noise violations, eight alarms, nine reported careless drivers, four disturbances, 10 welfare concerns, three complaints of lost properties, trespassing, grand larceny, 21 suspicious activities, five ambulance assists, code violation, civil matters, stalking, motorist assists, harassing phone calls, 911 hang up, utility call out, illegally parked car.
Oxford police investigated Seven wrecks, issued 59 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
2 Careless Driving & DUI
Simple Assault
3 Public Intoxications
Speeding, No Driver’s License, No Insurance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Tag & Warrant Served
Ran Red Light & DUI
Shoplifting
2 Warrants Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, seven alarms, six animal complaints, five disturbances, domestic violence, petit larceny, malicious mischief, 15 service calls, seven suspicious activity / persons, four welfare concerns, transports, four civil matters, two traffic complaints, car fire, two natural cause of death, five follow-ups.

Oxford Fire Department:
Cooking in room 512 activated a smoke detector at Courtyard Marriott 305 East Jackson.
Stood by for EMS at 129 L’Acadian.
Provided first aid to a female who had fallen during the run at Avent Park.
Room 127 duct detector malfunction at Music Building 350 University Ave.
University Police: 11 vehicle stops, larceny, careless driving, three assist with traffic, intoxicated person.
