Grand Larceny, Vandalism And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four suspicious activities, noise violations, three reports of careless drivers, two disturbances, three motorist assists, simple assault, trespassing, two alarms, fire dept. assist, complaint of lost property, illegally parked cars, welfare concern, malicious mischief, animal complaint, grand larceny.
Oxford police investigated Seven wrecks, issued 37 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Taillights, Suspended Driver’s License, No Insurance & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant Served
Ran Stop Sign, Suspended Driver’s License & No Insurance
Petit Larceny
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Five accidents, six alarms, five animal complaints, three disturbances, harassment, 13 service calls, three suspicious activities, vandalism, two welfare concerns, three follow ups, unauthorized use of vehicle, four traffic complaints.

Call cancelled for Oxford Health and Rehab.
Cooking in room 408 activated the heat duct detector in a supply closet of the Townhouse Suites by Marriott.

Smoke detector malfunction Residential Hall #1 room 302.
University Police: Other forms of harassments at Campus Walk Apts.
