Some positive news for Rebel Nation after an interesting week to say the least.

3-star DT Allen Love has committed to the Rebels as a part of the 2018 class. The 6’3, 285-pound defensive lineman, hails from Birmingham, Alabama and chose Ole Miss over Kentucky, NC State, Memphis and several other schools across the country.
Love’s commitment to Ole Miss comes after seeing a tenacity on defense that he hopes to match when he dons the red and blue.
“When I went down there Friday, I knew for sure that’s the place I wanted to be at and a school where I wanted to go,” Love told AL.com. “That’s an offer I’ve wanted since I was young. Robert Nkemdiche played there. Seeing their defense, the Landsharks, they’re going to get after you. That’s how I like to play defense.”
In his commitment video, which can be seen below, Love honored his late grandparents and his uncle, who he thanks for helping him along the way.

Love becomes the first recruit to commit to Ole Miss after the university released their response to NCAA allegations earlier this week.
Although still early in the process, a trend has developed in the Rebels 2018 class as Love is the fifth defensive lineman to commit to Ole Miss for 2018.
