Grand Larceny, Domestic Disturbance And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Six alarms, ambulance assist, two civil matter, three disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, grand larceny, lost property, malicious mischief, three suspicious activity, 911 hang-up call.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 16 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Headlights & DUI 1st
Careless Driving, Possession of a Fake Driver’s License
Speeding & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, three alarms, animal complaint, auto burglary, grand larceny, two harassments, juvenile complaint, two service calls, five suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, transport, two information, civil matter, disturbing the peace.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
Workers activated a smoke detector with dust 200 Washington #29.
Wreck with entrapment call cancelled to 1046 Hwy. 6 East.
Assisted EMS with patient behind 900 Shadow Creek.
University Police: Two vehicle stops, harassing email, disturbing the peace, accident injury.
