It’s election day in Oxford. Although there are six wards throughout the city, just two races are contested. Wards 2 and 6 will be decided today, while 1 and 5 were voted on back in May. The incumbents in Wards 3 and 4 did not have any opposition. HottyToddy.com caught up with the candidates outside of the Oxford Conference Center this morning ahead of today’s election. Each ward has its unique qualities, but the candidates all seem to agree on one important aspect of Oxford’s future, monitoring growth.

Polls are open at the Oxford Conference Center from 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
