I took this picture and instantly Psalms 8 came to mind. It’s the first set of verses I chose to memorize on my own, (an entire chapter, actually) and I spent weeks rereading them as a preteen. And I still remember every word today ? . . “Oh Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the Earth! You’ve set your glory above the heavens from the lips of children; you’ve ordained praise because of your enemy to silence the avenger and the foe. When I consider the heavens, the works of your hands, the moon and stars which you’ve set in place, what is man you are mindful of him? The son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands and put everything under his feet. All the birds of the air, beasts of the field, fish of the sea, and all the swim in the paths of the sea.
