Domestic Violence, Larceny Burglary And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: two animal complaints, two motorist assists, five carless driving complaints, vehicle burglary, trespassing, five alarms, four disturbing the peace complaints, three suspicious activities, improper parking, three welfare checks, petty theft, five shoplifting, cyberstalking, 911 hang up, larceny burglary.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 45 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
domestic violence with simple assault
seat belt violation and no driver’s license
expired tag and driving while license suspended
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, alarm, two animal complaints, two disturbances, harassment, three service calls, four suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, scam, follow up, traffic complaint, three civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrests
contempt warrant, suspended drivers license, DUI 2nd other burglary/auto burglary warrant, check point arrest
Oxford Fire Department: 
First floor elevator smoke detector malfunction at 800 Park #3.
Transformer fire stood by for Oxford Electric Dept. 800 Van Buren,
University Police: vehicle stop
