Domestic Disturbance, Burglary And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Six alarms, motorist assist, burglary, trespassing, suspicious person, civil matter, scam, reported DUI, 911 hang up, petit larceny, recovered property, domestic disturbance, report of lost property, disturbing the peace, two suspicious activity.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 14 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
No Proof of Liability Insurance and DUI (wreck)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest citation)
One Headlight and No Driving License
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, four alarms, three animal complaints, disturbance, five service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, scam, transport, three civil matters, traffic complaint, checkpoint arrest.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
no driver’s license, possession of marijuana in motor vehicle
Oxford Fire Department:
Fire report for 5-18 through the 5-21 will be released on Monday.
University Police: Three vehicle stops, aggravated domestic assault.
