Oxford police responded to the following calls: Eight suspicious activities, other agency assist, animal complaint, malicious mischief, welfare concern, two alarms, two fire dept. assists, illegally parked cars, two disturbances, two 911 hang ups, trespassing, motorist assist, civil matter, two reported reckless drivers, code violations.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 40 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

No Seatbelt & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, two alarms, auto burglary, five disturbances, domestic violence, grand larceny, petit larceny, malicious mischief, five service calls, two suspicious activities, two transports, two traffic complaints.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made four arrests
domestic violence, simple assault
domestic violence
harassing phone call warrant
contempt warrant
Oxford Fire Department: 
pull station alarm at Oxford High School
vehicle accident with car smoking
fire links apart build 5 apartment 6
University Police: suspicious person, motor vehicle accident with property damage.
