Domestic Violence, Grand Larceny And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Ten alarms, improper parking, animal complaint, shoplifting, reported DUI, petit larceny, two suspicious activities, two motorist assists, welfare concern, simple assault, three disturbing the peace, harassing phone call.
Oxford police investigated 21 wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Careless Driving and No Driving License
Expired Tag, No Proof of Liability Insurance, No Driving License and Warrant Served
Improper Equipment, No Proof of Liability Insurance and No Driving License
Warrant Served
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest citation)
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, four disturbances, domestic violence, grand larceny, petit larceny, 11 service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, scam, two credit card fraud, three traffic complaints, two follow ups.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests
attempted sexual battery
simple assault warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
Stood by for chlorine tank change out at Winchester.
Smell of smoke wires were shorting out at Kroger.
Burned popcorn activated a smoke detector in room 419 of the South Residential College.
University Police: Running stop sign, accident property damage, three vehicle stops, assist with traffic, suspicious vehicle, accident hit n run.
