Warrant Served, Domestic Violence And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four animal complaints, six alarms, suspicious activity, credit card fraud, two reported DUIs, improper parking, disturbing the peace, ambulance assist, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Wrong Way on a One Way Street and DUI
Public Drunk
Driving on Wrong Side of Roadway and DUI
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: three accidents, two animal complaints, two disturbances, domestic violence, three service calls, two suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, civil matter, four follow up, unauthorized use of a vehicle, traffic complaint.

Oxford Fire Department:
Oxford Fire Department reports for dates May 2 – 7 will be released Monday, May 8.
University Police: suspicious vehicle, serving a warrant, three vehicle stops, assist with traffic, larceny, ambulance needed at the baseball field, motor vehicle accident at the Tad Smith Coliseum, ambulance needed at Burns Hall, public drunk, intoxicated person.
