Vehicle Burglary, Grand Larceny And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: six alarm, six suspicious activity, malicious mischief, five suspicious person, two civil matters, three 911 hang-ups, motorist assist, burglary of a residence, suspicious vehicle, false pretense, vehicle burglary, two disturbing the peace, welfare concern, ambulance assist.
Oxford police investigated 12 wrecks, issued 29 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
2 Public Drunk
No Proof of Liability Insurance and Leaving the Scene – Property Damage
Trespassing
Speeding
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest citation)
One Headlight, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two alarms, three animal complaints, auto burglary, four disturbances, grand larceny, 16 service calls, five suspicious activities, welfare concern, transport, civil matter, two follow-ups, fraud.
