Counterfeit Currency, Fake ID And More In Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Five disturbing the peace, five suspicious activity, four suspicious person, four reported DUI, counterfeit currency, three civil matters, welfare concern, other agency assist, two motorist assist, 911 hang-up, simple assault, three improper parking, alarm.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Seatbelt Violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest)
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest)
3 Public Drunk
Careless Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI
Possession of a Fake ID and Public Drunk
Careless Driving and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, three alarms, two animal complaints, two disturbances, two petit larceny, two harassment, three service calls, two suspicious activities, welfare concern, two trespassing, three civil matters, three follow-up, three traffic complaint.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department: 
1110 North Lamar for a smell of smoke.
97 Pool Drive fire alarm that was already reset when arrived on sense.

University Police: suspicious person, intoxicated person, suspicious vehicle, vehicle stop, two loud noise disturbances, two motor vehicle accidents.
