Aggravated Assault, Larceny And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, other agency assist, two larceny, five suspicious persons, three disturbing the peace, civil matter, three suspicious activity, two welfare concern, improper parking, malicious mischief, reported DUI.
Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued 33 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Careless Driving, Suspended Driving License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Out of Jurisdiction Warrant Served
Possession of a Schedule III Drug
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest)
Cutting Corner, No Proof of Liability Insurance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest)
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, simple assault, alarm, three animal complaints, five disturbances, petit larceny, four service calls, four suspicious activities, welfare concern, five transports, civil matter, follow-up, unauthorized use of vehicle, two traffic complaints.

University Police: Suspicious vehicle, ambulance needed, seven vehicle stops, accident property damage, accident hit and run, assist with traffic, aggravated assault domestic violence, public drunk, minor in possession, sexual battery.
