Person Locked In Huddle House Restroom And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, welfare concern, two recovered property, three suspicious persons, code violation, identify theft, two petit larceny, three reported DUI, three ambulance assist, three suspicious activities, suspicious vehicle, 911 hang-up.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
careless driving and DUI
speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, alarm, two animal complaints, three disturbances, two harassments, two juvenile complaints, three service calls, trespassing, three civil matters, seven information calls, follow up, road obstruction, two reckless driving.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrests
driving with no license
possession of controlled substance, warrant
trespassing
harassing phone calls
writ to take custody (out of county)
Oxford Fire Department:
Person locked in the restroom at Huddle House.
First base line concession stand smoke detector malfunction at Swayze Field.
Resident checking her alarm system accidentally activated the Carbon Monoxide alarm.
University Police: Loud noise, 11 vehicle stops, suspicious vehicle, two accident hit and runs, property damage, assist with traffic, intoxicated person, ambulance needed.
