Commercial, Residential Burglaries And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Five welfare concerns, suspicious person, counterfeit currency, six alarms, domestic disturbance, four disturbing the peace, motorist assist, petit larceny, two recovered property, 911 hang-up, two malicious mischief, two suspicious activity, civil matter.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 29 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Open Container
Careless Driving and DUI
No Tag, No Driving License, No Proof of Liability Insurance and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, three alarms, animal complaint, commercial burglary, residential burglary (Yocona Area), six disturbances, domestic violence, three harassment, three service calls, two suspicious activities, six welfare concerns, transport, two civil matters, three traffic complaints, follow up, fraud.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made four arrests
domestic violence / simple assault
sale of controlled substance warrant
disturbance of family
possession of controlled substance warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
No calls to the fire department on Monday
University Police: intoxication, ambulance needed, service call, 13 vehicle stop, possession of drugs, patrol activity, accident property damage, burglary items taken from auto, minor in possession, suspicious vehicle.
