Lafayette County Sheriff's Department Issues Murder Warrant, Suspect Considered Armed And Dangerous
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department has issued a murder warrant for Chris Demont Paten, 27, of the Oxford and Water Valley area, after Kenya Hill, 31, of Oxford passed away last night, March 17, from gunshot injuries.
According to the sheriff’s department, the shooting took place on March 9 on Sand Hill Drive in the Brittney Woods area.
In a press release, the department stated, “Upon arrival, the victim had been transported to Baptist Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi, by personal vehicle, and then transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Paten, who also goes by the name Chris Caine, is considered to be armed and dangerous. If seen, please call your local law enforcement or call Lafayette County Crime Stoppers at 662-234-8477.
