Oxford police responded to the following calls: scam, harassing phone call, two welfare concern, three alarms, two fire department assist, improper parking, two shoplifting’s, petit larceny, animal complaint, suspicious activity, reckless driving, disturbing the peace, reported DUI, suspicious person, civil matter, suspicious vehicle.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 20 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Simple Assault
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Expired Tag, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Warrant Served
2 Warrant Served
Malicious Mischief
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  wreck, simple assault, alarm, four animal complaints, four disturbances, two suspicious activities, six service calls, two malicious mischiefs, two welfare concerns, transport, follow-up, four traffic complaints.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department: 
Call cancelled to Baptist Memorial Hospital
Cooking activated the smoke detector at Canterbury Crest Apt.
University Police: two reports of harassing telephone calls, two motor vehicle accidents, two vehicle stops.
