Identity Theft, Domestic Violence And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: other agency assist, three alarms, improper parking, civil, petit larceny, suspicious activity, two ambulance assist, identity theft, reported DUI, welfare concern, two disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 40 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Ran Stop Sign and Possession of a Fake ID
Domestic Violence – Simple Assault
3 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
DUI
Possession of a Fake ID and Minor in Possession of Alcohol
No Driving License
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two alarms, two animal complaints, three disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, five service calls, suspicious activity, welfare concern, transport, trespassing, two civil matters.

Oxford Fire Department:
Smoke and CO detectors malfunctioned (problem with their system) at 101 Price Street.
Electrical socket in kitchen shorted out at Volta.
Smoke detector malfunction at the ATO house.
Smoke detector chirping due to low battery at 2206 Esplanade Ridge.
University Police: five vehicle stops, traffic detail, fake ID, service call, moving violation, disturbance.
