Vehicle Burglary, Bicycle Thiefs And More In Today’s Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Fire department assist, three welfare concerns, four suspicious activities, elderly assist, ambulance assist, disturbing the peace, reported DUI, vehicle burglary, stalking, civil matter, four alarms, two suspicious vehicles, petit larceny, counterfeit currency.

Oxford police investigated 15 wrecks, issued 20 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Schedule III Drug

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  two alarms, three disturbances, juvenile complaint, 14 service calls, two suspicious activities, scam, two transports, traffic complaint, unauthorized use of a vehicle, follow up, ID theft.

Oxford Fire Department: 
Mulch in flower bed smoldering at the Connection.
Water flow alarm malfunction at Faser Hall.
Closet smoke detector malfunction at Conner Hall Room 212.
Cooking activated the smoke detector Canterbury Crest #118.

University Police: two motor vehicle accidents, bicycle larceny, justice court warrant, accident hit and run.
