Hit And Run, Shoplifting And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: five alarms, two suspicious activities, two petit larceny, fire department assist, shoplifting, two disturbing the peace, code violation (trash), suspicious person, malicious mischief, two reported DUI, domestic violence.
Oxford police investigated 15 wrecks, issued 21 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
malicious mischief
shoplifiting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, alarm, residential burglary, four disturbances, five service calls, three welfare concerns, scam, civil matter, traffic complaint, traffic stop arrest.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrests
warrant for simple assault and trespassing
false pretense
felony leaving the scene of an accident with injuries
Oxford Fire Department:
alarm call 110 st Andrews road
call to square M&W clothing
University Police: five suspicious vehicles, parking lot check, nine vehicle stops, traffic detail, motor vehicle accident, hit and run, service call, possession of controlled substance, larceny.
