The Rebels took on number 5 ranked Baylor Saturday night in The Pavilion and fell just short of achieving the upset.

OleMiss shot lights out in the first half after making five three-point shots and applying strong defensive pressure via their 1-3-1 defensive scheme. The sellout crowd at the Pavilion provided a huge advantage to the Rebs as they were able to extend the lead by as many as 15 points in the first. Baylor was able to overcome a 7-point halftime deficit by crushing OleMiss on the glass and capitalizing on second chance opportunities after reeling in 13 offensive rebounds and 37 boards overall.
Check out the photos below and see just how close the Rebels were to defeating one of the best teams in the country.

Rebels will be back in action Tuesday night at The Pavilion as they take on Mississippi State at 6 p.m.
