Hit And Run, Obstructing Traffic And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: suspicious vehicle, two burglary of a building (Bramlett Blvd and West Oxford Loop), six alarms, six disturbing the peace, harassing phone call, vehicle burglary (Anderson Rd), two animal complaint, suspicious persons, two domestic disturbance, motor assist, two welfare concern, fire department assist, petit larceny, three malicious mischief, 911 hang up.
Oxford police investigated ten wrecks, issued 17 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Obstructing Traffic and DUI
Ran Red Light and DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Wrong Way on a One Way Street and DUI
DUI
Trespassing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Shoplifting
Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: simple assault, two alarms, disturbance, two domestic violence, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, nine service calls suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two transports, four traffic complaints, forgery, ID theft, possible child abuse.

Cooking activated a smoke detector at 322 Murray Street.
University Police
Officers made 14 vehicle stops.
A hit and run at the Jackson Avenue Center.
