UM Meek School Dean Norton Checked Into The Newseum While In Washington Today
HottyToddy.com contributor Steve Vassallo ran into Will Norton, Jr., dean of The Meek School of Journalism and New Media at Ole Miss, while in Washington covering the Inauguration earlier today.
While visiting the Newseum, which is a museum of news that promotes free expression and the five freedoms of the First Amendment, Norton said, “This is a building designed by someone an architect selected by Charles Overby [chairman of the Overby Center for Southern Journalism and Politics]. It’s a terrific place to visit, and it’s so fortunate, it stands between The White House and The Capitol, so the media has a major role in the government.. in the United States.”
