Ole Miss Alum and Family Safe After House Burns During The Night

Last night as Ole Miss alum Lauren Malone and her family slept, their home became ablaze. All those who were in the house made it out safely, but the fire left the house completely burned, and the family is left with nothing. A Go Fund Me page has been started by Malone’s boyfriend, Dean Nurnberg, the description for the page can be read below:
“My girlfriend Lauren Malone in Ridgeland, MS recently suffered an unthinkable tragedy. Late into the night, something caught fire in the garage directly below where she was sleeping. The fire quickly expanded, sending the entire house into a blaze. She and her family made it out seconds before the house was completely on fire. She is the strongest person I know and her 15 year old brother is handicapped. I could not imagine a family closer to God that does not deserve to go through this disaster. Please help them if you can, anything would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you.”
