Oxford police responded to the following calls: three alarms, improper parking, three welfare concerns, vagrancy, two disturbing the peace, suspicious people.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 27 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Expired Tag, No Proof of Liability Insurance and No Driving License
Seatbelt Violation, No Driving License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI
Ran Stop Sign, No Proof of Liability Insurance, No Driving License and DUI
Improper Equipment, Driving While License Suspended and DUI
Improper Equipment and No Proof of Liability Insurance
Speeding, No Driving License and Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two alarms, accident, residential burglary (Big W area), harassment, eight service calls, two welfare concerns, two transports, house fire.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made no arrests on Thursday
University Police Department
Responded to eight vehicle stops on campus.
Responded to a simple assault call at Campus Walk Apt
A sexual battery case at University Grove.
No calls were made to the Oxford Fire Department.
