Multiple Arrests Made, Harassing Phone Calls and More in Oxford Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls:Two alarms,two suspicious vehicle, three suspicious activity, two improper parking, five 911 hang-ups, scam, three welfare concerns, Report of Lost Property, Harassing Phone Call, Motorist Assist, Animal Complaint, Disturbing the Peace.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 34 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest)
Improper Passing, Expired Tag, Driving While License Suspended and DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, three alarms, two disturbances, grand larceny, six service calls, vandalism, two welfare concerns, transport, civil matter, headlighting complaint, traffic complaint.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made arrests on the following charge:
traffic stop arrest
University Police Department
A wreck at the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT.
A disturbance call at campus walk.
a suspicious person at the pavilion.
No calls were made to the Oxford Fire Department.
