“Kayla Thomas was involved in a horrific accident Saturday, December 31, 2016. She is from Water Valley, Mississippi, and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is still in critical condition. The community and everyone that knows Kayla has been turning to God more than ever over the past few days. It’s clear how loved she is. How awesome it is to see God work through so many people as they are being moved to pray so constantly and so aggressively for one of His dear children. Kayla’s mother, Lisa Thomas, is keeping everyone updated periodically when she can through her Facebook page and is actively pleading to all to find it in their hearts to continue praying for her baby girl.

“So far, Lisa’s updates on Kayla’s condition have reached out and touched a growing number of prayer warriors, inspiring 1,063 likes, 896 comments (prayers) and 287 shares, with numbers are still growing.
“So let’s keep this prayer chain growing. I look in awe at this movement carrying on by God’s children in honor and love for Kayla, and a family in the throws of a traumatic situation, as a stepping stone in our community, and perhaps as a bigger unit (our country). Let’s pay it forward… for Kayla, for others… to strengthen our relationship with God and to get in the habit of acting in kindness and empathy for others.
“I hope the image and thought to inspire others to ‘Pray For Kayla’ is shared and that it inspires us all to act and feel for others in the way God wants us to – for our loved ones and our neighbors and even complete strangers, for we know everyone is a cherished child of God. Events like these inspire us all to come together and love one another, which as part of the bigger picture, will bring us closer to healing our country with love.
“Kayla is strong-minded, extremely intelligent, beautiful, talented and loving. I’m sure others that are closer to her know more about what makes her so special, but those are a few things I personally know about her. I pray for her mother and family, her friends, the medical staff working to heal her and mend what’s broken, and the community praying for a good outcome for this sweet baby.
“I believe God creates and inspires miracles every day, and the more this prayer movement continues, the more hope and faith we put into Him. God ultimately has the power and the plan for us all. He will test us. He will renew our spirit. He will heal us. We need only to trust in God. His will be done. In Jesus’ name ?

“Keep fighting, Kayla. We are all praying. ❤️”
Share for Kayla.

Her family could all the help they could get for traveling expenses, as well as medical. It’s hard to see a loved one go through this and finances should not be an issue. Donations can be made at https://www.gofundme.com/vj-please-help-the-thomas-family
