Northwest Spring Registration Just Around The Corner

Registration for the 2017 spring semester at Northwest Mississippi Community College is just around the corner.

Open registration and orientation for day classes for students who have not previously registered will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 12 on all Northwest campuses.

Open registration for evening classes will be held on Monday, Jan. 9 from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on all three campuses.

Open registration for day classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On the Senatobia campus, registration will be held in the Haraway Center.

Students may register for Northwest eLearning’s online classes Monday, Jan. 9, 4:30 – 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Day classes begin on Friday, Jan. 13. Evening classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 17. Late registration will be held Jan. 13 and 17-20.

Financial Aid staff will be in the McLendon Center, Room 210 on the Senatobia campus and on the other campuses to assist students with financial aid concerns during registration. On the Senatobia campus, Financial Aid staff will be in Room 210 of the McLendon Center, during registration on Monday, Jan. 9- Thursday, Jan. 12 but will return to their office in Yalobusha Hall, Suite 103 on Friday, January 13.

Northwest will also offer a variety of classes on the Senatobia campus, at DeSoto Center and online during the two eight-week Spring 2017 Mini-Terms. The first session of on-campus Mini-Terms will begin on Jan. 17 and end on March 2, and online Mini-Terms will be held from Jan. 17 – March 10. The second session of on-campus Mini-Terms will be held from March 20 to May 5, and online Mini-Terms will be held from March 13- May 5.Open registration for Mini-Terms will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 12 for the first Spring Mini-Term and Wednesday, March 8 – Friday, March 10 for the second Spring Mini-Term.

Registration for eLearning Mini-Term classes is during evening school registration on Jan. 9 and day registration (Jan. 11-12). Registration for second session eLearning Mini-Term classes is March 8-10.
