The Ole Miss women’s basketball team returns to the court Saturday afternoon as they play host to the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks inside the Pavilion at Ole Miss. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.

Ole Miss (6-2) comes into the game after dropping 66-61 in a closely fought battle to No. 16 West Virginia in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Dec. 4. Taylor Manuel and Erika Sisk led the Rebels with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Shequila Joseph posted a career-best 11 rebounds for her second game with double-figure rebounds this season.

La-Monroe enters Saturday’s game with a 2-5 record after falling to Northwestern State on Sunday. The Warhawks have dropped their last two contests and five of their last six. Andreanna Jackson leads a trio of players in double figures with 12.4 points per game.

Grabriella Cortez is adding 11.7 points per game and Alexis Collins is contributing 10.7 ppg. Stephanie Ratliff is leading the rebounding efforts with 11.4 rebounds per game and is nearing a double-double average with 9.3 points per game. Ole Miss is the second SEC opponent for ULM, as they took on Arkansas falling, 92-46, to the Razorbacks.

Ole Miss coach Matt Insell’s 48th career win and given the Rebels its sixth straight win at home, the best start to the home slate in the Insell era and also the best start to a home season since 2012-13, when Ole Miss won its first seven home games.

The Rebels and the Warhawks are matching up for the 16th time in program history. Ole Miss owns a 13-2 record and has won the last 10 meetings between the teams. The last time the teams met was in 2013-14, a 78-72 Ole Miss win in Oxford.
