Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, auto burglary, two careless driving, two disorderly conduct, four disturbing the peace, three fire department assist, harassment, three motor assists, residential burglary, shoplifting, simple assault, four suspicious activity reports, two vehicle parking complaints, welfare concern.

Oxford police investigated Eight motor vehicle collisions, 48 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charge:
(3)Public Drunks
(2)Speeding and DUI 1st
(2)Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(2)Larceny from an Auto
Out of State Warrant
Trespassing

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, three alarms, two animal complaints, two disturbances, domestic violence, three service calls, four suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two transports, civil matter, traffic complaint.

Lafayette Sheriff’s department made arrests on the following charge:
traffic stop arrest, suspended driver’s license
domestic violence, simple assault, possession of paraphernalia

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
A smoke scare; very very burned bacon in the oven at 1210 Beanland.
General fire alarm malfunction at 400 Cullen.
Smoke detector malfunction in the West Sky Box, 2nd floor elevator.
Vehicle smoking scare with a broken radiator hose at Popeye’s Parking Lot Belk Blvd.
A strong smell of bleach – Blind Pig cleaning and smell coming through the wall at Material Girls.
