The Annual Holiday Ornament Auction & Party invites guests to bid on ornaments designed by local artists while enjoying appetizers and refreshments provided by local restaurants.

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Oxford Lights, the Oxford Christmas in Lights Tour, invites everyone to grab a self-guided map of local homes that have been decked out for the holidays.

santas-workshopSaturday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 11, noon to 4 p.m. Chartre Companies, Ltd. at 2330 University Ave.

Santa’s Workshop offers pictures with Santa; cookies and milk or hot cocoa; games; activities and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit Kim McGregor, a co-worker who is battling cancer.

Check out the newest B&B in Taylor, MS, as Taylor Inn opens it doors for Jingle & Mingle. There will be tours of the property, refreshments and holiday music provided by local musicians.
