Best Places To Study For Finals in Oxford
As this semester comes to an end, students all over the University of Mississippi start to prepare for their final exams. But the question is, where do they plan on studying?
Students are starting to claim their study spots all over the town of Oxford.
Student Allison Rogers has claimed Square Books as her go-to, quiet study space. “The bookstore has become my new spot. I love it because it’s close to my house and it’s quiet just like the library on campus is but less crowded” Rogers said. “Upstairs they also have a tiny little coffee bar that I love, I could stay there for hours”.

For some students, Square Books isn’t their choice of study space. So, where do they go?
Sophomore Anna Bess Pavlakovich chooses to study at the Graduate Hotel right off of the Square. “I love studying at the graduate because it has a relaxed, casual feel, but it has an environment that is bright and colorful, unlike the

Some students prefer places like Cups or Highpoint coffee to study.
Student Ally Langston prefers Cups over anywhere else. “Cups is my favorite spot in Oxford, it’s small, not too popular and was the best
“Cups is my favorite spot in Oxford. It’s small, not too popular and has the best coffee,” Langston said. “I love their blonde lattes; they keep me going all day and help me stay awake, especially during finals week.”
If coffee isn’t your thing while you study for finals, a great healthy alternative study spot is Juva on University. Caroline Luckie loves going to Juva to study.
“Juva’s atmosphere it so contemporary and awesome. I love studying there, and their drinks are healthy, which is a great alternative instead of coffee,” Luckie said.
Lastly, you can never go wrong with Starbucks. Starbucks is always filled with students studying, and who doesn’t love a Starbucks coffee?
Good luck on finals!
