Ole Miss Students’ Guide To Dead Week
This semester is coming to an end and with only two weeks left, you gotta squeeze in all of your faves Oxford has to offer. What better time than dead-week with all of your “free time” to get your fix of Oxford originals before you go home for winter break. Here is your go-to dead week to-do list!
1) Grab some grub at your favorite Oxford restaurant
What restaurant are you going to miss while at home? Is it that fast food chain you don’t have back in your hometown? That breakfast place that has your favorite dish? What about that really cool place on the Square you don’t know how you will live without for the next month? Whatever it is, get it before it’s too late!
2) Shop till you drop at that boutique you know you will have withdrawals from
Shop like it’s Black Friday! Whether it’s a Christmas present for someone back at home or an outfit you know you’re going to rock, stock up on all your favorite stores.
3) Hit up the Square one last time with your friends for happy hour
Oxford really does have the best drink deals. Go to your favorite bar for one last drink with your squad. You’re going to miss the drinks, the prices, but more importantly, just hanging out with your buds.
4) Work out like it is your last workout.
Whether you have a gym membership to one of the specialty gyms in Oxford, you break a sweat at your neighborhood gym or you are an avid user of a trail or park in Oxford, push for one last great workout.
5) Have a fun night in with all of the people you’re going to miss over break
Get your squad together for a fun night of Secret Santa or White Elephant gift exchange. Winter is coming, and that means you won’t see them for a while.
6) Spend some time in your favorite part of campus

Is it a study spot or your favorite building on campus? Or maybe a nice day in the Grove? Your Greek house? Wherever it may be, spend a little extra time there and let it sink in.
