Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, vehicle burglary (Anderson Rd), one malicious mischief, one recovered property, one motorist assist, one suspious vehicle, motor vehicle theft (motorcycle), three welfare concerns, one civil matter, one suspious person, vehicle burglary (Old Taylor Rd), harrasing phone call, two suspicious activites, disturbing the peace.

Oxford police investigated Five motor vehicle collisions, 44 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charge:

Careless Driving and DUI

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Four accidents, simple assault, five alarms, animal complaint,residential burglary (CR 102), four disturbances, harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, three service calls, two suspicious activities, four welfare concerns, transport, fire call, traffic complaint.

Lafayette Sheriff’s department made an arrest on the following charge:
traffic stop, DUI 3rd, resisting arrest, suspended driver’s license, simple assault on a law enforcement officer

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
A car fire with a fire in the engine compartment and the fire department put it out on University Avenue and Highway 7.
